Expressing his condolences over the tragedy, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh for the families of the deceased, Rs 50,000 for those who sustained serious injuries, and Rs 25,000 for those who sustained minor injuries
At least 15 people have been reported dead and 25 others injured after a bus carrying around 80 passengers fell off a 50-feet bridge in the Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh.
The incident occurred when the bus was travelling to Indore, and the driver reportedly lost control, causing the bus to fall off the bridge in the Dongergaon area. Rescue operations are underway, and local authorities and emergency services are working to provide necessary medical attention and support to the victims and their families.
Expressing his condolences over the tragedy, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh for the families of the deceased, Rs 50,000 for those who sustained serious injuries, and Rs 25,000 for those who sustained minor injuries.
He also assured that the state government would bear all expenses for the medical treatment of those injured in the accident.
